Design + production takes approximately 3-5 weeks
Mail 10-12 months from your wedding
Destination weddings/weddings held during/on holidays: mail 8 months to 1 year out
Minimum Investments:
Save the Dates: 1000
Custom Invitation Suites: 2800
Day-of Paper Goods: 500
I do! My minimum investment covers design fees, sourcing materials, communication, project setup, and more. This investment exists regardless of quantity, and remains in place should your quantity and/or project scope change.
Design + production takes approximately 8-10 weeks
Mail 10-12 weeks before your wedding
Destination weddings/weddings held during/on holidays: mail 14+ weeks out
Most weddings follow the same formula for mailing invites, which you can see below!
If you're under a time crunch, rush fees may apply to design and production times.
Because I create everything from scratch in my studio, I don't print any designs that aren't mine. I'd be happy to recommend a few print shops that would be able to assist you in printing your pre-designed invitations!
Absolutely! The alternative that I offer is to calligraph your guest's names above their printed address. This is a great cost-effective option that keeps your design aesthetic the same throughout your suite!
I don't recommend handwriting your own guest's addresses or printing labels, because your invitations are created with a special aesthetic in mind that those two methods may not match well with.
As soon as possible! The best time to order your day-of paper goods is while we're discussing your invitations. All you have to do is secure your spot — we can chat about more details down the road — but it's always better to be on my schedule in advance!
All guest names and table information will be required two weeks before your wedding day. If you submit your guest information with less than 14 days until your wedding day, your order may be subject to a rush fee and automatically upgraded to rush shipping.
Simply put, custom invitations are built from the ground up. This option is great if you have a lot of unique details to incorporate into your invitation suite, such as unique letterpress details, a venue illustration woven into a crest, or extra pieces not included in a traditional 4-piece suite.
Collection invitations have a pre-built structure that we'll work from, but are tailored to your wedding details. For example, if you chose a partial custom suite with a venue illustration, I would hand draw and insert your venue illustration into the design (or you could choose from a few pre-designed images!)
Yes, definitely! One of my specialties are line drawings of venues or pets – if you haven't thought of incorporating your fur-babies into your wedding day somehow, I have so many ideas for you! – and we can absolutely add color to those illustrations as well.
The best part about illustrations is that we can use them for so many pieces! I've created elaborate maps for past clients using special places their guests will visit during their wedding, or crests with the couple's pets or favorite activities represented.

Testimonials
When you order your wedding stationery here, you become part of the Sablewood family. That means you have access to my vast knowledge of paper, printing methods, the post office, and more...as well as answers to my most-asked questions below!
process
Because of the nature of my full-service work, I don’t offer removal of assembly or mailing services. I include these so you can lean on my expertise when it comes to assembling invitations, keeping up with new post office regulations, and saving you costly mail mistakes.
But most importantly, I include assembly and mailing in my packages to save you lots of time and energy! This process can take upwards of 8 hours or more depending on your quantity – and I know you have better things to do than wait in line at the post office! :)
I totally get it, quantities can change! Because of the fluid nature of guest counts, the best course of action is to start at the lowest possible quantity you believe you'll need to order. We can always increase your quantity from that starting point!
However, once you've signed your Contract and paid your 50% non-refundable retainer, we can decrease your quantity, but will need to reallocate those remaining funds to something else, such as upgrading your postage or adding a second letterpress color.
